The triumph of the 3rd Intifada forces a ceasefire

13/10/2025

La Marx International

On October 9, delegates from the Israeli government and the Palestinian militias Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, meeting in Egypt, agreed to a ceasefire, the "first phase" of which involves an exchange of hostages, the withdrawal of Israeli troops and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to a temporary stop, and the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza. Under the agreement, Israel must release 250 Palestinian prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment and 1,700 captured Palestinians, while the Palestinian militias would hand over 20 captured Israelis and any bodies they could recover. The precarious and fragile agreement represents a humiliating defeat for Netanyahu and his government, which failed to achieve its goal of defeating the Third Intifada. Yet we must reject the agreements proposed by Trump and Netanyahu because they seek to save Israel, establish a government under imperialism in Palestine, and disarm the Palestinian militias that have dealt a severe blow to the Israeli army.

Marxists support the militia struggle and salute the courage of the Palestinian guerrillas, militiamen, and partisans. However, it is necessary to note that the leaderships of the Palestinian movement, whether Islamic fundamentalist, Stalinist, or Arab, whether Hamas, Islamic Jihad, or the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, are bourgeois or reformist, who at some point inevitably betray the revolution because they attempt to curb its permanent character against capitalism. The Palestinian militias issued a joint declaration rejecting any "foreign tutelage" over Gaza, but the ceasefire agreements highlight that to impose a "Free Palestine from the River to the Sea ," the mass slogan that millions of us around the world defend today, it is necessary to build a revolutionary leadership to lead the Third Intifada, a task that begins with the regrouping of Palestinian and global activism around Marxism.

Israel's defeat forced imperialism to impose an agreement

The activists of the world to whom this article is addressed must forgive us if they find it somewhat long, but we are going to offer you here data and elements that you will not find in the pages of the imperialist bourgeois press, nor in the pages of the reformist left that lie about what is happening in Palestine. Without these data, it is impossible to understand what is happening because the reality is that the Trump administration exerted brutal pressure on Netanyahu, and the Israeli government practically intervened to impose the ceasefire. The Israeli cabinet meeting that approved the ceasefire in the early hours of October 8-9 did so in the midst of an enormous crisis, a collapse, and tremors within the government, the IDF, and the political regime of the Zionist state, which we will explain in detail in this article. He did so under pressure from White House Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff and Trump's chargé d'affaires and son-in-law Jared Kushner, who attended the meeting to force and guarantee the agreement's approval, seeking to extricate Israel from the enormous economic, political, and social quagmire it finds itself in.

This is the third ceasefire after November 1, 2023, and the second in January of this year that was broken by Netanyahu in March, since Israel cannot accept any type of ceasefire because they express that despite military, technological and economic superiority, destruction, genocide and crimes against humanity, Israel is increasingly far from achieving its goals. When the Netanyahu government broke the second ceasefire, it claimed that its goal was "Greater Israel," that it would occupy Gaza, expel Palestinian militias, eradicate the tunnels used by Palestinian partisans, transforming Gaza and the West Bank into provinces governed from Tel Aviv. Imperialism, the UN, and NATO openly collaborated with all of Netanyahu's aberrations from March of this year to today, but, as we will explain in detail in this article, the defeat they have suffered is even deeper than all the previous ones received since October 7, 2023, when they received a massive beating at the hands of Palestinian militias.

This opened the prospect of Israel's collapse and destruction, set off all the alarm bells and red lights on the counterrevolution's dashboard, and forced them to impose the agreement, muzzling their Israeli attack dog, attempting to achieve through negotiation and deception what they could not achieve on the battlefield. The ceasefire is a precarious and fragile agreement that spells defeat for Netanyahu, imposed by Trump and NATO, who couldn't care less about the famine, genocide, and the deaths of thousands of Palestinian children. They aren't resorting to the ceasefire for "humanitarian" reasons , but to ring the gong to save Israel from the worst round marked by the development of the formidable global revolution represented by the Third Intifada.

Israel has been defeated by the urban guerrilla warfare established by the Palestinian militias, who in turn have imitated the revolutionary method of the Ukrainian militias, the Houthi militias in Yemen, the Kurdish militias in Kobane, the Syrian militias against Al Assad, or the Iraqi militias against NATO. The heart of imperialism's plan is the disarmament of the Palestinian militias; if it does not achieve this objective, it will have achieved practically nothing, because it needs to implement the plan to disarm the Hezbollah militias in Lebanon, disarm the Kurdish militias of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northern Syria, the Houthi militias of Ansarallah in Yemen, or the militias of the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) in Iraq. Since Ocalan, the historic leader of the Kurds, laid down his weapons in Turkey, betraying decades of national liberation struggle, the Palestinian Authority of the traitor Mahmoud Abbas has made a similar capitulation in the occupied West Bank. Imperialism, supported by all Arab capitalist governments, seeks to have all the leaderships of these movements capitulate and do the same as Ocalan or Abbas, to eliminate all traces of dual power that exist in the Middle East and that have emerged through successive Arab Springs. As long as the Palestinian militias retain their weapons, the dual power traits of the Third Intifada will remain strong.

They seek to dismantle the 3rd Intifada, the vanguard of the global revolution against capitalism.

It is impossible to understand the ceasefire without considering the central features of the global situation. Elements of dual power, self-organization, and self-defense have become widespread in the uprisings taking place around the world, and the Palestinian people's struggle has become the epicenter of the third global revolutionary wave sweeping the world with mass mobilizations against capitalist governments in Greece, Serbia, Turkey, South Korea, Georgia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and France. It has also incorporated the emergence of Generation Z in Nepal, Morocco, Peru, and Paraguay. It has also included the battles of the Ukrainian National Liberation Army against Putin's dictatorship, the mass uprising against immigration police in California and Chicago in the United States, the general strike in Italy, and the protests in Spain. In many cases, such as Morocco, for example, the mass mobilizations began with support for Palestine and then transformed into mobilizations against the government and the monarchy. Imperialism is seeking to defuse the Third Intifada, which lies at the heart of this global mobilization against capitalism, and then attempt to defuse the revolutionary wave that is developing amid the worsening global crisis of capitalism.

The crisis of capitalism is entering a new chapter, marked by the lowering of the dollar interest rate, carried out by imperialism with the aim of publicly carrying out the bailouts and rescues that have been carried out secretly since 2023. The central bank's policy of emergency swap agreements , which you can read about by clicking here, with emergency injections of money for bailouts, has been used so far this year to rescue Intel, Japanese banks, European banks, Argentina, and, in fact, with the ceasefire, imperialism is seeking to rescue Israel. The crisis of capitalism has no solution as long as this process of global mass mobilizations continues, battering capitalist governments and regimes and preventing them from emerging from the crisis, as expressed by the current political crisis and the power vacuum in France.

The Israeli crisis is the result of the failure of the military operation called "Chariots of Gideon 1 ," initiated by Netanyahu after the breakdown of the March 2025 ceasefire. On March 2, Israel decided to once again block the entry of food and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, and to suspend all supplies of electricity, water, and gas, in order to pressure the people and militias to surrender and impose an agreement different from the one signed on January 15. In "Chariots of Gideon 1," formalized in May 2025, Israel tried all the most aberrant fascist methods against the civilian population to break the Palestinian will to resist. At an estimated cost of $8 billion, the IDF invaded Gaza, creating buffer zones, or ghettos, to concentrate Palestinian civilians with the aim of allowing the IDF freedom of movement and operational flexibility in seeking to dismantle Hamas rule and the Palestinian militias over the territory. Some crazy bourgeois analysts have suggested that Israel wants to carry out "ethnic cleansing" in Gaza. Nothing could be further from the truth; what Israel sought with the massacres was the surrender and transformation of Gaza into a province with all Palestinians living within it, accepting Israeli rule.

Israel, with the support of imperialism and NATO, inaugurated a humanitarian aid distribution system that replaced the 400 UN distribution centers with four centers run by a private NGO, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (HGF), financed and sponsored by Israel itself and managed by American, jihadist, and Israeli mercenaries. They sought to force the population to gather in front of the warehouses so they could shoot them in line to collect food, as a form of social discipline. Simultaneously, "Gideon's Chariots 1" marked the emergence of a jihadist criminal gang opposed to the Palestinian militias called the " Counter-Terrorist Service," which was directly armed and financed by Israel. The leader of this gang of smugglers and drug traffickers of approximately three hundred members is Yasser Abu Shabab, the head of a Bedouin clan established in Rafah from ISIS, who were responsible for shooting at Palestinian militias and carrying out the looting of humanitarian aid convoys. Israel tasked this band of fascist mercenaries with controlling the new convoys in the south of the Strip and monitoring the delivery areas in the Rafah area.

In addition to these atrocities, Israel implemented the use of robots armed with explosives to demolish homes and attack targets. This entire combination of fascist initiatives—the formation of "ghettos ," the hiring of ISIS mercenaries, and the use of "robots" —were not an expression of strength but of weakness, given that the IDF had been defeated and could not confront the Palestinian militias head-on, who offered them urban guerrilla warfare. Gideon's Chariots was the last desperate intervention to defeat the Intifada, but, as Nahuel Moreno argued, imperialism unleashed the "Mad Fireman Law," seeking to put out the fire with gasoline. Thus, this entire fascist initiative achieved exactly the opposite result: It unleashed a more powerful and radicalized global Intifada around the world, which ultimately led to the collapse of the State of Israel.

"David's Stones," the answer to "Gideon's Chariots 1"

As Israel's atrocities with "Gideon's Chariots 1" unfolded, they sparked global outrage, leading to a new wave of the global Intifada, a more radicalized process of mobilizations led by youth and Generation Z at European music festivals, who launched the slogan "Death to the IDF" , which was added to the slogan "Free Palestine from the river to the sea" . Mobilizations for Palestine became mass globally in the capitals of imperialist countries and on 5 continents, and Palestinian flags flew globally, uniting global activism and facilitating unity of action and the unity of the global revolutionary process against capitalism, which struck a blow to the entire imperialist apparatus of attack on Palestine. In turn, the Palestinian militias launched the resistance operation called "Stones of David" based on the profound changes taking place in Palestine: On April 10, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that Hamas, far from disappearing, had recruited some 40,000 new fighters, and the Palestinian militias changed their resistance strategy, now less focused on the use of tunnel warfare and more focused on the production of explosive devices such as rockets and drones, following the example of the Ukrainian militias.

In Ukraine, a massive development of homemade drones has emerged, built in thousands of homes. These drones are very cheap and undetectable by old army systems, matching the economic and technical supremacy of oppressive armies. This has turned Ukraine into the "resistance drone capital of the world." Likewise, 75% of the Gaza tunnels remain intact, making ambushes of the IDF widespread. On April 21, 2025, the Al-Qassam Brigades carried out an ambush against an Israeli force east of Beit Hanoun, which they called"Breaking the Sword," attacking a military vehicle at point-blank range and overturning it and its occupants. "Breaking the Sword" triggered a crisis at the 32nd session of the Palestinian Central Council on April 23 when Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas harshly attacked the Palestinian resistance and demanded that they be handed over to Israel, calling them "sons of bitches", prompting Hamas to issue a statement condemning the Central Council meeting andthe Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine to suspend its participation in the Palestinian Central Council and withdraw from it. Ambushes and battles continuedApril 26in Al-Sheja'iyya, and May 8Operation"Gates of Hell"where aZionist infantry force was liquidated with high-explosive devices in the Al-Tanour neighborhood, east of the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

On May 10, 2025, in the Al-Janina neighborhood, the Rafah Brigade pounded the IDF's Golani Brigade, and on May 20, 2025, a barrage of RPGs and close-quarters ambushes, with coordinated attacks by the Al-Quds and Al-Qassam Brigades, struck the IDF after detonating a field of pre-placed barrel bombs targeting an Israeli military convoy that had advanced toward the Abu Haddaf neighborhood in the Al-Qarara area, northeast of Khan Yunis. The battering was received by the 601st Engineer Battalion, and militias observed helicopters landing at the scene to evacuate dead and wounded soldiers. On May 29, 2025, Al-Saraya fighters detonated remotely bombs in a complex ambush targeting Israeli soldiers and vehicles in the area of Al-Aqsa School, in the village of Al-Qarara, east of the city of Khan Yunis, with 13 mortar shells.

On July 3, 2025, the ambush in Al-Huda Square resulted in the casualties of more than 40 Israeli soldiers and officers who were unable to react or take the initiative, fleeing the scene in panic. The following day, on July 4, 2025, a complex ambush carried out by the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the highly coordinated Palestinian Islamic Jihad, involved the detonation of a minefield targeting an Israeli military convoy, followed by direct attacks on tanks and buildings housing soldiers with anti-tank and anti-fortification missiles, in which the IDF was unable to prevent hand-to-hand combat. That same day, militias detonated and destroyed more than 52 Israeli military vehicles in the Shujaiya, Al-Tuffah, and Al-Zaytoun areas, prompting an Israeli official to tell Yedioth Ahronoth: "There are no suitable housing units for us to stay in Gaza; most are destroyed or suspected of being booby-trapped. Many of our soldiers remain in vehicles all the time, making them direct targets."

By July, the entire "Gideon's Chariots 1" operation had been defeated and had completely failed. On July 2, Palestinian militias executed several ISIS mercenary collaborators hired by Israel, and the Gaza Ministry of the Interior ordered Abu Shabab to surrender to be tried for treason by a "Revolutionary Tribunal," giving him 10 days to surrender and warning him that his location was known. This led to the fascist drug trafficker, hired by Israel, fleeing Gaza and seeking refuge in the IDF. In July, the controversial Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), which oversaw Israel's food distribution program, was dissolved in Switzerland. On July 30, 2025, the Israeli army announced that it was beginning to withdraw its forces from the Gaza Strip, including the withdrawal of the 98th Division, while the paratrooper, commando, and armored brigades were withdrawn from the territory. In an article you can read here, General Itzhak Brik wrote that Israel is on the verge of "collective suicide" and that the army has effectively been defeated by the militias in Gaza. In that article, Brik stated: " Our enemies continue to arm themselves with cheap missiles and drones, to which Israel has no answer. We are heading toward a point of no return, when all we can do is pray to God."

"Chariots of Gideon 2" splits the Zionist state in half

By June 2025, following the failure of "Gideon's Chariots 1," the Labor and Yisrael Beiteinu parties announced their intention to propose a bill to dissolve the Knesset, which would mean the dismissal of Netanyahu's government. In the same context, Yisrael Beiteinu party leader Avigdor Lieberman called on Netanyahu's government to step down, while the Maariv newspaper quoted a high-ranking Haredi source as saying that estimates suggest Israel is heading toward early elections. Cornered by internal opposition and mobilizations against his government, on June 12, 2025, Netanyahu launched a series of bombings and attacks against Iran called "Operation Rising Lion," which destroyed military bases, nuclear plants, and military residences. This operation saved him from being removed from office by just eight votes in the Knesset. But the Zionist state received a brutal slap in the face when Iran launched "Operation True Promise III" hitting the cities of Tel Aviv, Haifa, Beit Shean, Eliat, Arraba, Ben Gurion Airport, Ramat Gan, Upper Galilee, the Jordan Valley, etc.

Iran's bombing of Israel caused massive destruction and a mass flight of Israeli settlers and citizens. Israel's " iron shield" failed; bombs fell on Tel Aviv, and several demolished neighborhoods in the capital began to resemble Gaza. Israel's short "12-Day War" against Iran shattered the myth of Israel's "invincibility" and exposed the vulnerabilities, growing crises, and weaknesses of the Zionist state. The damage suffered by Israel totaled approximately $3 billion, revealing the extent to which Iran was able to penetrate the defenses in Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, and Holon, leaving people trapped under the rubble in residential buildings. The 12-day war left behind a bleak picture of Israel, with a hated, repudiated, and globally isolated government whose officials have been declared war criminals by the International Criminal Court. a decaying state as explained by Shir Hever, Israeli analyst at Mondoweiss : "Economic indicators speak... of an economic catastrophe. More than 46,000 companies have gone bankrupt, tourism has stopped, Israel's credit rating has been lowered, Israeli bonds are selling at almost "junk bond" prices and foreign investments have already fallen by 60%..."

Israel is a country of barely 7 million people, but it has half a million displaced people sleeping in Tel Aviv hotels, one million who have fled the country, and two million who must resort to underground shelters at night when missiles or drones are announced to fall on the cities. The entire higher education system has collapsed because collaboration with universities around the world is suspended due to the blockades of student takeovers in the United States and Europe. The cost of the Third Intifada is high for the Palestinian people, with more than 77,000 dead and missing, in addition to around 170,000 wounded. But it has cornered the Nazi-Zionist state and placed it before the prospect of destruction. While Palestine is an entity that is not even close to disappearing, recognized worldwide as never before, whose flag flies all over the world, Israeli flags cannot fly practically anywhere in the world, and where they do, they are erased from the map by the people.

Netanyahu and his cabinet of Nazis decided to continue the aggression against Gaza and announced a new military operation called "Chariots of Gideon 2." This operation no longer sought to divide Gaza into ghettos, but to directly annex it and occupy its capital, Gaza City. The announcement literally split the State of Israel in half. Prime Minister Netanyahu announced a call for 60,000 reservists, but was met with a rebellion in which everyone refused to enlist. The IDF found that no one showed up for service, which led to the military operation being questioned, according to the Wall Street Journal, which you can read here. It was then that Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir directly confronted Netanyahu and rejected "Chariots of Gideon 2," arguing that such an operation would cause many Israeli casualties and leave Israel even more isolated. "Those who fail to recognize their limitations and therefore fail to address them pay a high price, as the United States did in Vietnam," Zamir said.

As the specter of Vietnam began to loom, the Zionist state was split in half: on the one hand, the Netanyahu government insisted on annexing Gaza, and on the other, IDF chief Zamir refused to follow orders, telling anyone who would listen that carrying out such an operation was "suicide." However, the biggest shock came when data from the Israeli Ministry of Defense's Rehabilitation Department was released on August 6, 2025, revealing that the IDF had 88,000 casualties as of October 7, 2023, including 26,000 suffering from mental health issues. The figure was made public during a session of the Knesset Special Committee on Foreign Workers, chaired by Likud MK Eti Hava Attia, tasked with examining the growing demand for foreign caregivers to support wounded soldiers and disabled veterans. The department described the rising death toll, combined with a rise in suicides among military personnel, as a "major national challenge ," prompting the Hashmonaim Brigade to disband part of its chain of command due to a shortage of recruits. In September, Israel's public broadcaster reported that ultra-Orthodox protesters gathered outside a military prison in Tel Aviv to demonstrate against the arrest of draft evaders, as Netanyahu's latest remarks came in. Acknowledging growing international isolation, he said that "Israel needs to become a 'Super Sparta' and become 'self-reliant.' " The Israel Business Forum responded to Netanyahu: "We are not Sparta; ...We are heading towards a political, economic and social abyss that will endanger our existence... ". The announcement of " Chariots of Gideon 2" only split the Zionist state in half, leading it to collapse with the public confrontation between the government and the army that provoked the emergence of the Donald Trump government, which intervened directly to stop the Zionist government, and try to rescue it from the debacle with the ceasefire.

For a free Palestine from the river to the sea

The ministry projects that by 2028, nearly 100,000 veterans will be in its care, with at least half expected to suffer from PTSD and related disorders, which you can read about here. On September 16, it was reported that the military prison is overcrowded with deserting soldiers, while Haredi Israelis were arrested at Ben Gurion Airport, and dozens more surrendered to military police after refusing to enlist. A Maariv poll found that 51% of Israelis favor ending the war and securing the release of the captives, even if Hamas remains in power in Gaza. At this point, the Netanyahu government was an out-of-control entity, in complete crisis, cornered by the Third Intifada, desperate to escape the specter of defeat. Trump approached the Hamas leadership with a peace proposal, which was meeting in Doha, Qatar, for consideration. On September 9, 2025, Israel bombed Qatar, seeking to assassinate the Hamas negotiating delegation. Although it failed to kill Hamas leaders, the Doha bombing garnered worldwide condemnation and increased Israel's isolation.

Israeli Army Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir claims that Benjamin Netanyahu wants to remove him after rejecting a plan to take control of Gaza. But to further aggravate Israel's crisis, Palestinian militias decided to launch the resistance operation "Moses' Staff" in response to Operation "Gideon's Chariots 2" and warning that Gaza would become "a graveyard" for Israeli soldiers. On August 8, 2025, the Al-Quds Brigades bombarded Israeli troop concentrations near Jabal Al-Sourani, east of Al-Tuffah in Gaza City. On August 10, 2025, Palestinian militias proceeded to execute more mercenaries and aid thieves in the camp, while crowds of residents cheered. On August 15, the Al-Qassam Brigades carried out a complex ambush against an Israeli force in southern Al-Zaytoun, Gaza City. The group claimed to have used a rocket and machine gun fire against the soldiers, placed two anti-tank explosives on armored personnel carriers, and hit a Namer armored personnel carrier with a Yassin-105 round. Fighters also shelled two homes where Israeli soldiers had taken shelter, causing casualties among the troops. On August 19, the resistance destroyed an Israeli military bulldozer in the Al-Mansara playground, south of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, Gaza City. On August 21, 2025, Palestinian militias attacked a concentration of Israeli soldiers and vehicles in the Salah al-Din axis with short-range Rajoum rockets, hitting a command and control post and a concentration of soldiers and vehicles west of Rafah, in southern Gaza.

On August 24 and 25, the Al-Quds Brigades attacked an Israeli Eitan armored personnel carrier with a Kornet missile in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City, scoring a direct hit. They also detonated two tanks with high explosive devices on Monday and Tuesday in eastern and central Jabalia. Between August 29 and 30, the IDF suffered four deadly ambushes in battles for Jabalia and Al-Zeytoun, where Israeli Merkava tanks and an armored personnel carrier were hit with Yassin 105 rounds in central Jabalia, northern Gaza. The resistance defeated the 162nd Division, including the Givati and 401st Brigades, which was advancing towards Gaza City in Jabalia, but suffered heavy casualties. Israeli media described the events as the most challenging the army has faced since October 7, 2023. Resistance fighters used night vision goggles to detect Israeli forces, enabling them to strike massive blows with ambushes amid intense fighting. This allowed the resistance to capture Israeli soldiers in Zaytoun, forcing the IDF to activate the "Hannibal Protocol," which is used in kidnapping cases.

On September 5, 2025, the Al-Quds Brigades shelled the Zionist enemy's command and control headquarters in the Zaytoun neighborhood in the central Gaza Strip, using mortar shells, in cooperation with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the armed wing of the Fatah movement. On September 9, 2025, in the Al-Omari area of central Jabaliya, the militias blew up a tank and the soldiers inside. On September 14, 2025, the resistance continued the execution of collaborators, and on September 20, 2025, former Israeli War Cabinet member Gadi Eisenkot told Israel Hayom: "Entering Gaza City is strategic madness." Yedioth Ahronoth reported that protests erupted across Israel, with police preventing demonstrators from advancing toward Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence. It was at this point that European imperialism began to raise the issue of creating "two states ," and the UN launched the "Sumud Flotilla," led by Greta Thunberg, in support of a humanitarian and pacifist policy, seeking to shift activism from a policy of radicalization and combat to a pacifist policy of supporting the "two states." The fact that 99% of the global left supported the UN initiative is a further sign of the crisis of reformism.

On September 26, 2025, the Israeli army command admitted that sniper fire used by the resistance is one of the most difficult challenges they face, while fighters also attacked a Merkava tank with a tandem missile at the intersection of Al-Oyoun Street, near the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, and attacked another tank and an excavator with a Yassin round and an explosive device in the Al-Shati refugee camp. On September 29, 2025, Al Jazeera reported intense clashes between Israeli forces and the Palestinian resistance near Al-Shifa Hospital and in the Al-Nasr neighborhood in central Gaza, after which the wounded soldiers were evacuated to hospitals in Tel Aviv and Beersheba.

It was at this point that the Trump administration intervened directly to impose on Netanyahu the ceasefire policy that they would later agree on with the Palestinian militias. However, the ceasefire agreements will not put an end to the Third Intifada: A people's will for liberation is unstoppable when it erupts, and even more so when it achieves revolutionary victories. Our policy is unconditional support for the Palestinian militias, but at the same time and simultaneously, support for the process of political revolution within Palestinian activism by supporting the development and emergence of a new secular activism linked to Marxism, encouraging a break with the Islamic fundamentalist leaderships that have a reactionary policy and ideology supporting the Arab bourgeoisies and a retrograde theocratic program in favor of oppressive dictatorships. From the Marx International, we continue to give our full support to the Third Palestinian Intifada, which on all fronts is repeating the epic struggle of the Vietnamese people when they succeeded in defeating US imperialism. The Third Intifada must serve as a global rallying point for the activists and leaders who support it and promote the struggle for a Free Palestine from the river to the sea, secular, democratic, and non-racist, as part of the struggle for global socialism.
