The mobilization is intensifying at the Sorbonne University in Paris!

The video shows the General Assembly of the staff of the Sorbonne Université. Impressive! The strike was unanimously voted on on 5 and 6 November. Exciting debates, great lucidity and much solidarity.
On Monday, November 2, the student mobilization at Sorbonne University intensified significantly, with numerous sites closed, blocked or occupied. On the campus of Jussieu, a general student assembly gathered between 900 and 1,000 students in a highly combative environment.
On Tuesday, November 3, the first general assembly for staff attracted 450 companions. This assembly voted in favor of the strike on November 5 and 6, with plans to organize a "popular university" (open educational forum) on the campus of Jussieu on November 6. The CGT FERC SUP Union of Sorbonne University welcomes the growth of this mobilization.
The CGT FERC SUP calls on all colleagues to participate in general assemblies and help build unified frameworks for mobilization.

Starting November 5, many public-private employees will join the fight initiated by young people, seeking to build influence against Macron and his government.
