Long live the struggle of the workers and people of China against Xi Jinping!

La Marx International
A wave of protests, mobilizations, demonstrations has spread throughout all the cities of China since the entire month of April and continues in the month of May, confronting the capitalist dictatorship of Xi Jinping and the Communist Party of China (CCP). Workers' protests over unpaid wages, layoffs, and suspensions are taking place in all the factories of the country and mobilizing entire communities that confront the bosses and local governments, but raise slogans against the dictatorship such as: "Pay Xi, pay!" (demanding that President China pay the wages owed several months ago).
This presents a global panorama of a wave of protests and workers' and popular mobilizations in the two largest capitalist economies in the world. On the one hand, a wave of protests and workers' and people's mobilizations against the government of Donald Trump in the United States throughout the months of April and May, which occurs coincidentally in the same period of time with the development of a wave of protests and workers' and popular mobilizations that is on the rise throughout China against the capitalist dictatorship of Xi Jinping. The waves of struggle face the aggravation of the crisis of world capitalism expressed in a tendency of stagflation, a frightful combination of recession and inflation that is shaking the political and social situation of all capitalist countries throughout the world, as you can read by clicking here.
An uprising against hunger and poverty that questions the dictatorship
The bourgeois media hides what is happening, and continues to stir up the waters about the advent of the "3rd World War" between China and the USA. But what is happening is exactly the opposite: The mass revolutionary uprising against the U.S. governments is a major uprising. The U.S. and China, as part of a single world revolutionary process against capitalism led by the uprising of the most oppressed, the oppressed nations, women, the native peoples, the immigrants that is expressed in the mass mobilizations in the U.S. and China. The US, China, Greece, Serbia, Turkey or revolutionary processes such as Palestine, Ukraine, Rojava, Syria, the Houthis in Yemen, etc. It is these uprisings and revolutions that are shaking the world.
Capitalist China, ruled by the dictatorship of Xi Xinping, is sinking in the midst of recession and skyrocketing prices in the family basket. From Dao County in Hunan Province to Suining City in Sichuan and Inner Mongolia Tongliao City, many frustrated workers have taken to the streets to their complaints about back wages and to challenge unfair dismissals in factories forced to close.
The workers stated that the company Shengdi Optoelectronics Shengdi, which produces flexible circuit boards, had not compensated their salaries since the beginning of the year and had withheld social security benefits for almost two years starting in June 2023. When Optoelectronics shut down, more than a thousand employees protested and some were arrested, but they continue the fight over unpaid wages for half a year, even duringthe May Day holiday in China, many companies closed and employees demanded their wages.
Shengdi Optoelectronics had been praised by the Tongxiang Municipal Government. But many workers report that they had been owed wages for half a year, and that if he couldn't get his wages back and couldn't find a new job, he would have to return to his hometown to farm. Analysts said that in addition to the real estate explosion that has hit both upstream and downstream industries hard, other industries have also been hit by a wave of bankruptcy. When Donald Trump announced the tariffs, all investors understood that the recession was going to deepen 'because it was going to slow down growth. All support for the struggle and mobilization of the workers and people of China!
The uprising of the workers and the people is facing harsh repression from the regime. To the extent that the crisis of capitalist China is having a considerable impact, slower economic growth is expected to hit especially export-oriented industries. Earlier this week, more than a dozen migrant workers from Tuanjie village in Xi'an Prefecture in the northwestern province of Shaanxi expressed concern at a local project office, stating that they had not received their wages since February 2025.
On April 24, hundreds of employees of Guangxin Sports Goods in Dao County staged a strike after the company's factory closed without providing their due compensation or social security benefits. Workers at the factory, which specializes in sports protective equipment and related products, alleged that Guangxin Sports unfairly fired more than 100 senior employees. On May 7, 2025, workers and the people of Guangao in Shantou, Guangdong, blocked the road to defend their rights. A single slogan must unite us Marxists: Long live the struggle of the workers and people of China! Down with the capitalist dictatorship of Xi Jinping! Uniting the struggles of the workers and peoples of the world, we advance on the path of the defeat of capitalist governments to impose Global Socialism
