Following Bayrou's resignation, Sebastien Lecornu assumed the office of Prime Minister to continue the Macron-Bayrou plan, and the government wants us, the workers and people of France, to believe that the austerity is to "clean up the economy" or "lower the deficit." This is false! The Macron-Bayrou government's 44 million euro austerity plan serves the 1% oligarchy that dominates Europe and France. It is the plan of the bankers, of BNP Paribas, Société Générale, and Crédit Agricole. We must blockade all of France's cities and roads, occupy factories, businesses, and establishments, as a starting point for a general strike to impose a workers' and popular government with an emergency plan serving the poorest and most vulnerable!

On September 10, we must "block everything" to defeat the Macron-Bayrou plan, a plan of corporate CEOs and billionaire bankers. Capitalist Europe is sinking into crisis because large corporations like Deutsche Bank, BNP Paribas, Groupe Bruxelles, and Grupo Sabadell are parasites that suck the blood of millions of European workers to sustain their fortunes, yachts, palaces, mansions, and fleets of luxury cars. They want us to foot the bill for the bailout of Credit Suisse, merged with UBS, the shenanigans and scams of the European Union (EU), Christine Lagarde and her European Central Bank (ECB), as well as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the "troika" that works at the service of the euro aristocracy and European capital.

In our country, the Fifth Republic regime serves the aristocracy of Jean-Laurent Bonnafé, Christian Dargnat, Bernard Mourad , Jean-Paul Chifflet, Frederic Oudea, Philippe Citerne, the CEOs of corporations, and billionaire bankers. The parliamentarians, the civil servants, the judges, the government of the Fifth Republic serves the aristocrats of the ruling classes. Out with these corrupt officials, the palace butlers graduated from the National School of Administration (ENA) who work for Cac40, Bernard Arnault of Louis Vuitton, Vincent Bolloré of Canal+ and Vivendi or Xavier Niel of Free. Out with the officials of the Fifth Republic, the oligarchs associated with the ECB and Wall Street! We need those 44 billion for schools, hospitals, public works, salaries, pensions! The bourgeoisie, the big capitalists, have nothing to offer the people but poverty and inequality, which is why their regime and the state of capitalist France must be demolished.

The left and the union bureaucracy betray the people

The "total blockade" we are going to carry out on September 10th emerges from below, among social organizations, activists, and fighters, driven by the most genuine self-organization of the people through social media. It doesn't arise from the call of leftist parties or union bureaucrats. This is how the revolutions and uprisings of the 21st century are, self-managed, self-organized outside of all traitorous leaders. Where are the leaders of the so-called "left" of France? Why isn't the New Popular Front calling for this struggle? The French Socialist Party of Olivier Fauré and Corinne Narassiguin proposes to co-govern with Macron under the pretext of "confronting the far right" of the RN. They are the bankers' stewards, just like Fabien Roussel and the Communist Party with its newspaper L'Humanité , which have been collaborating for 40 years with the capitalist-imperialist governments of the French state, like the Mitterrand government.

The September 10th strike did not originate with the leaders of the Ecologists, nor with La France Insoumise, nor with the French Communist Party, the Socialist Party, Génération, the Republican and Socialist Left, or the official New Anti-Capitalist Party (NPA). Olivier Faure, Marine Tondelier, Fabien Roussel, or Jean-Luc Mélenchon are only interested in running in the next elections to win a few seats, lying to the people that their entry into office can achieve a "better capitalism. " That is why they did not spearhead the declaration of war on the Macron-Bayrou plan, nor did the union bureaucrats of the CGT, FO, or Solidaires. They are afraid of the fall of the Fifth Republic regime, which would mean losing all their privileges. That is why the September 10th movement arose outside of all of them. The September 10th movement is also an opportunity to sweep away all those traitorous leaders of the bourgeois left and the union bureaucracy, regrouping revolutionaries to build a new union and political leadership based on Marxism.

For a working-class and popular solution to the crisis of capitalist France

Jean-Luc Mélenchon's La France Insoumise is calling for a blockade on September 10th. He also talks about ending Macron's government. And what does he propose? Calling new elections. Could it be that Mélenchon thinks bourgeois democracy can bring something positive for the people? What would be the best prospect these upcoming elections could offer us? A victory for the New Popular Front? Would a government of Fauré, Roussel, and Mélenchon confront the " troika" and the ruling classes of capitalist France?

Would the upcoming elections proposed by Mélenchon defeat the attempt to cut 3,000 public sector jobs, freeze wages, and freeze pensions? Does Mélenchon want us to believe that a new NFP government would put an end to capitalist France? Jean-Luc Mélenchon's La France Insoumise is a reformist lie. We need to build a revolutionary and Marxist organization to impose the only way out of the collapse of capitalist France: a government of the workers and the people. Only this emergency government, led by the country's social, political, and union organizations, can implement the measures we need to end the poverty and inequality of capitalist France and its oligarchic regime of the Fifth Republic.

The people no longer believe in the old organizations of the French left, like the Socialist Workers' Party (PS) and the Communist Party (CP), which were the pillars on which the Fifth Republic stood. That's why this regime is collapsing, and millions are abstaining from elections because they no longer believe in these traitorous parties or their leaders. Nor do the people believe in the old union leaderships anymore; they have used all kinds of maneuvers to prevent the September 10th protests, fearing this movement. The union leaderships maneuver by not calling for the 10th, some of them, or by launching another date, like the 18th, without mentioning the 10th, to confuse and divide the movement. The CGT, in a 180-degree turn, is now calling for September 10, 2025.

Let's strengthen the mobilization now, let's advance the movement that will block everything: to impose a working-class and popular solution to the crisis of capitalist France. Let's place France back in the orbit of the great struggles we have been leading since 2023, and in the revolutionary wave sweeping the world with mass mobilizations in Greece, Serbia, Turkey, South Korea, Georgia, Indonesia, the Palestinian resistance in the Third Intifada, and the military victories of the Ukrainian National Liberation Army in the Donbas. This is the path to the struggle for socialism in Europe and around the world.
