Europe at the centre of the world revolution against capitalism

The Marx International

The images of the Pink Panther, the protagonist of children's cartoons pursued by a hydrant car in the streets of Paris, was engraved in the collective memory as the symbol of the insurrection of peoples, the working classes, and the students who move Europe. The struggle of the people in France and Europe reaches the highest expression as part of the 3rd revolutionary wave against capitalism that develops worldwide. Images of France, like those of Nepal in 2025, have globally impacted the collective unconscious, provoking the terror of the ruling classes and imperialist elites, and placing the revolution at the center of the world political situation.

What happens in France, Spain, Italy, Albania, Ukraine or Belgium are not lightning in a clear sky but is part of a revolutionary mass wave that moves the world, the 3rd revolutionary wave so far in the 21st century started in 2022. This global wave hits the governments and capitalist regimes of the world and goes from Nepal, to the "revolution for Housing" in Spain; from the defeat of ICE in Minnesota or the mobilizations of the "No Kings" movement in the United States, through the struggle against the dictatorships of Cuba and Venezuela, to the mobilizations of the peoples in Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bolivia, Turkey, the triumphs of the Houthis in Yemen, the defeat of the Houthis in Yemen, the defeat of the United States In Europe the triumphs of "Operation Vivaldi" of the Ukrainian national liberation army that he's released 600 km2 of the territories occupied by the capitalist oligarchy headed by Vladimir Putin in the Donbas. The revolutionary tide against capitalism today reaches its highest expression in the mass mobilizations in Europe.

Facts give us reason: Let's support the world revolution against capitalism

From Marx International we have been proposing that there is a world revolution against capitalism, and the facts of Europe give us reason. Marxists are the only current in the world that raises the existence of a world revolution against capitalism and confronts the establishment of the reformists, Stalinists, and social democrats who sustain the campaign of imperialist officials that what happens in the world is the "rise of the far right", as you can read here in the article where we explained the lie of that campaign.

The revolution that shakes Europe has its epicenter in France, but it encompasses Ukraine, Albania, Italy, Belgium, and Spain. It also has a strong workers' component with general strikes such as that of October 23 in Belgium, on October 30 in Italy, on November 5 in France, on November 11 in Spain, on November 20 a new call in Italy, and on November 21, with the strike of Italian railway workers. Also, and as we have explained in the document on the world situation approved by the Congress of the New Socialist Workers Party of Argentina that you can read by clicking here, the revolutionary processes of Europe present a panorama of self-organization and self-defense arising from below, from the poorest and most oppressed sectors, in a process of "sovietización" "sovietization" that puts in check the bourgeois governments and regimes both dictatorships and bourgeois democracies, because they are the result of the world political revolution, that is, of the process of breaking the masses with their old leaderships and parties which leads peoples to take

France: Epicentre of Revolution

How we explained it in the article you can read doing click here, the revolution in France broke out with the epicenter in the youth with a student conflict initiated in demand for better study conditions that escalated towards a generalized crisis with widespread unrest that were transformed into claims against inequality and the cost of living, unleashing days of urban violence with city hall fires, 3000 shops have been looted, among other events Shopping looting and hundreds of arrests in cities like Paris, Marseille and Lille. To the elements that we have raised in the article are added updates such as that after the events convened by "Amarillos Vests" the universities and secondary schools stopped working, the University of the Sorbonne suspended all its classes. The French imperialist state reacted brutally in defense of French capitalism and The authorities of the Ministry of the Interior and the French government reported that the cumulative number of people questioned and arrested is between 1,800 and 2,000 nationally.

But the violent repression of the bourgeois state could not stop the forcefulness of the mass mass mobilizations that rocked the country. About 500 to 600 police and security forces were reported injured during the clashes in which 3000 shops have been looted, among other events. On October 11, 2026 there was a meeting of the national coordination of Lycées, 200 young people representing 71 Lycées carrying out a deep and very important process of self-organization fighting to develop their own leadership, which shows that the revolutionary process of France is being driven by directions and bodies that arise from below, from the deepest of the working and popular neighborhoods. Headed by a radicalized, determined, organized activism, they are the vanguard of this movement that pushes the reality of France towards the general strike.

Spain: The "home revolution"

Spain is faithful reflection of what we call the "mirage" of the political revolution, because the elections anticipate a triumph of the conservative and neoliberal parties such as the PP or VOX, which in no way means a turn to the right of the Spanish masses, quite the opposite, it shows that the elections of bourgeois democracy are an increasingly divorced fraud of the reality that the people live, and does not reflect the aspirations, nor the proposals of the working class. The electoral results are a "mirage" because the most clearly pro-capitalist parties can triumph with 30% of the votes of those authorized to vote as a result of the collapse of the old directions and parties such as social democracy or Stalinism. The young people of the Complutense University of Madrid have mobilized in support of the movement, and in Galicia the protesters attended to repudiate the visit to Abascal, leader of VOX, which shows that there is no turn to the right and if a revolution that puts against the ropes the parties and leaders who defend the Spanish capitalist state.

Italy: Revolution in single cry, "Let's do like in France"

In Italy, the student turmoil under the slogan "let's do like in France" led to heavy clashes against the police in Milan, Turin and Bologna. The Italian youth actively protests by joining forces with the main unions to prepare mass strikes, mobilizations and mass protests driven by discontent in the face of the increase in the cost of living in rents, basic fuel and basket, low wages, the increase in the cost of living (Carovite), claims of better wages, defense of public services, and rejection of recent educational reforms. A diverse coalition that ranges from the CGIL (General Italian Confederation of Labor) along with more than one hundred social organizations, student collectives (OSA and Rete degli Studenti), the self-organized youth movement Italy in Piazza and grassroots unions such as the USB have launched actions such as the National Student Strike ("No Meloni Day") on October 16, 2026 where the first riots and clashes with the security forces in Turin were recorded

On October 17 there were massive marches and strong riots, in Rome a massive peaceful march called by the CGIL gathered thousands of people between the Republic Square and the Plaza del Popolo. In Bologna, riots caused October 18 and 19 that the shops in the center did not open their doors as a precaution. More than 140 police officers and wounded security forces were reported, and trade estimates put material damage in urban infrastructure and businesses at more than one million euros. Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and President Sergio Mattarella approved an emergency decree (Cortei decree) to suppress violent participation in demonstrations and ordered the extraordinary deployment of 500 military personnel to strengthen security in the streets of Milan. In the coming weeks for October 30, the general strike called by the CGIL is called, in coincidence with a day of student protest at European level, and the Social Collectives have announced recurring calls during the weekends in the main capitals of the country such as Rome, Milan, Turin, Florence and Bologna.

Albania: La "Revolución de los Flamencos"

Thousands of young people in Tirana demand the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, rejecting the privatization of protected coastal areas, youth unemployment and the abandonment of public services. The "Flemish Revolution" is a social protest movement in Albania unleashed by a luxury tourist megaproject in protected areas such as the island of Sazan and the Narta lagoon. The plan is backed by Jared Kushner (Kednald Trump's son-in-law), the Edi Rama administration and has led to anti-corruption claims and a lack of future for young people. The trigger was in May 2026, protests began in Zvërnec and Narta against the construction of a super-luxury complex that threatens wetlands and bird breeding areas. The Flamingos: The protesters adopted the pink flamingos — which inhabit and reproduce in the affected area — as their main symbol of resistance. Central slogan: Mass marches in Tirana and other cities chant slogans like " Albania is not for sale"

The main claims are the cancellation of the resort, curbing contracts and modifying environmental laws to favor real estate investment linked to the Trump family. The protesters call for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama (and also criticize sectors of the traditional opposition in a movement and heavily driven by students and Generation Z, the movement denounces the lack of opportunities, economic precariousness and forced emigration. Prime Minister Edi Rama has defended the tourism project and detracted legitimacy from the movement, calling it a "hybrid war" or responding to external geopolitical interests and digital networks. The mobilizations have grown in intensity, with clashes with the police and reports of arrests, transforming an ecological conflict into a generalized political crisis in Albania.

The triumphs of the "Operation Vivaldi" in the war of national liberation of Ukraine

It is also part of the European revolution one of the most important national liberation revolutions in the world such as the national revolution of Ukraine, as you can read in the article clicking here. The Ukrainian revolution has been characterized in recent months by the development of a revolution in the use of drones for people-driven self-defense, partisans, guerrillas and thousands of Ukrainian families fed up with the breach of imperialism and NATO that promise to provide the weapons necessary to confront Putin's bombings, but their promises are never fulfilled. The imperialist governments refuse to promote a revolution against Putin that could bring about the fall of a dictatorship like that of the occupiers of Ukraine, which has guaranteed the existence of capitalism in eastern Europe and much of Asia for decades. In fact, Donald Trump has come out in defense of Putin's dictatorship with an agreement by which he buys fuel from Putin, which in fact finances the killing of Ukrainians, and Elon Musk has restricted the provision of the internet for Ukraine, which acts as an aid to the occupying army.

Ukraine's national revolution underwent a dramatic change in this year 2026, when the partisans and Ukraine's national army launched a wave of systematic bombings of refineries, supply centers, and logistical knots that paralyzed the occupying army in the Donbas. And after that, they launched Operation Vivaldi, a counter-offensive in the Lyman area in northern Donetsk, headed by the Third Army Corps headed by the 3rd Assault Brigade under the command of General Andrii Biletskyi. The "Operation Vivaldi", thus baptized by "4 stations" Ukraine managed to liberate between 600 km2 of territory recapturing several strategic settlements and villages, and causing theto capture more than 250 prisoners and 2,000 casualties in the occupants, and destroyed the capabilities of the 144th Division of Motorized Rifles of Russia in that sector. The triumphs of the Ukrainian revolution are a fundamental part of the revolutionary wave that moves Europe and the world

The backdrop is the crisis of European capitalism

The crisis of capitalism in Europe is characterized by a serious stagflation, that is, the combination of recession and inflation in the economy of the imperialist countries as a result of the failure of the policies of the "troika" that is, the European Union (EU), the European Central Bank (ECB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that allocated millions of dollars in bailouts and financial safesmanship to the corporations that dominate the capitalist economy in Europe like the Deutsche Bank, BNP Paribas, Banco Santander, UBS, Barclays, Crédit Agricole, C ommerzbank, or ING Group. The savages failed to prevent the bankruptcy of the Global Credit Suisse Corporation, one of the most important in Europe, and generated a serious debt crisis of the countries with the European Central Bank (ECB) and investment funds as well as corporations that rescued European corporations and now demand the repayment of their millionaire loans. Europe it shows a crisis of such magnitude that has led to Nobel Prize winner in economics Paul Krugman in his article entitled "What's the Matter With France?" to warn that the spiral of interest payments stifles France's national budget, which ends up forcing cuts in key areas such as education and infrastructure.

Krugman says it is very difficult to rescue, or make a salvage on France for the enormous volume of its economy, a bailout that would not only prove fiscally monumental but also politically unfeasible within the European Union because it would subsequently lead to an adjustment of monumental characteristics. But the possibility of France falling into default has led to the rise of interest rates, since the capitalists demand more interest to buy the bonds of France, which today approach the category of junk bonds, similar to the backward countries. Added to the skyrocketing oil prices caused by the defeat of imperialism in Iran, which adds to the triumphs of the Houthis in Yemen with the seizure of the cities of Moca and Taiz that leave imperialism on the brink of disaster since they have lost control of the Straits of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb that represent around the 25% to 27% of the world's maritime trade in oil.

Let's support the world revolution against capitalism!

The crisis has plunged the European economy into recession, which is patented in the collapse of Germany's economy by falling industrial production, the cooling of foreign trade and the weakness of the manufacturing sector which hit large and medium-sized enterprises, and this is the backdrop of the capitalist crisis which explains that today Europe has become the epicenter of the world struggle against capitalism. From Marx International we have been proposing that there is a world revolution against capitalism, and we call on you to support them, while our organizations in Europe devote their efforts to carry it forward.

Marxists are the only current in the world that raises the existence of a world revolution against capitalism, a picture that places us on the sidewalk opposite the reformists, Stalinists, and social democrats who sustain the campaign of imperialist officials that what happens in the world is the "ascent of the far right", to justify their shameful electoralism and reformism. From The Marx International we call you to join in the events we carry out to support the revolution that shakes Europe the foothillsgeneral gas, mobilizations, and demonstrations to bring together revolutionaries in the struggle for a socialist Europe and Global Socialism.
